Why Android Phone Has Two MIC?

#Why do Android phones have two microphones?

Today I will discuss about a topic that our mobile technician brothers in Bangladesh often have this question that why two microphones are provided inside our Android phones. And what is the function of these two microphones?

Why are there two microphones on Android phones?

First of all, I will say that starting from the first mobile in the world, all the mobiles that have come up to now are generationally a little more advanced or updated than one another.

And mobile, telephone was first invented to transfer one's words to another person at a distance.

And the work of this transfer is done by the microphone. Telephones to mobiles, mobiles to android touch phones, all have evolved with the change of era.

Along with this, the microphone i.e. the speech transfer device is also not left out. Technology has also improved it by using two microphones in three parts.

Now talking about how two microphones work in three parts in one phone?

1. When we talk on the phone

2. When we talk on the phone loud speaker

3/ When we talk in extra noisy places

The first thing you'll notice is the distance diagram or design of any phone's microphone. If you are a mobile technician, you must have noticed that the microphone of any phone is placed under the phone, ie away from the speaker or ringer of the phone.

Those who work with sound systems know very well the reason for placing the microphone away from the speakers. The main reason is "noise". The greater the distance between the speaker and the microphone, the clearer the output sound will be. If the distance is less, the noise will increase and the output sound will not be clear or sometimes there will be a bad sound. Basically for this reason, distance is kept between the speaker and the microphone.

Now let's come to the reason for the phone's dual microphone. We have talked about the work in three parts above.

1/ When we talk on the phone:

Then the microphone at the bottom of our phone works to transfer speech. And the small speaker on the front of the phone works for listening.

2/ When we talk loudly on the phone:

Then the speaker sound of our phone comes to the big ringer speaker at the bottom of the phone, that is, the speaker next to where the primary microphone of our phone is placed. In this situation, while talking on the loud speaker, due to the presence of the speaker and the microphone side by side, noise may be created and we may have a problem in our conversation.

So when we speak loudly, the primary microphone automatically goes offline and the secondary microphone does the work of speech transfer.

3/ When we are in a noisy area:

Then our secondary microphone can act as a noise recoverer if we talk with the phone to our ear That is, if we talk with the phone to the ear, the secondary microphone that is on the top of our phone works to recover noise or remove extra sound from a distance, due to which even if we are in a noisy place, the speech is transferred clearly.
